Delete your account
Applies to Sadid for iOS and Android · Last updated: August 6, 2026
You can delete your Sadid account and its associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Sadid and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted — on iOS you will be asked to type DELETE first. Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.
Delete without the app
If you have already uninstalled Sadid, email privacy@sadid.org from the address on your account with the subject Account deletion request. We will verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your login credentials and authentication record
- Your profile — name, email address, photo and player statistics
- Your game participation history and club memberships
- Your notifications, reviews and payment records held by Sadid
What is kept
A small number of records are kept so that other people's history stays intact, but they are stripped of any link to you:
- Games and bookings you created or joined remain as historical records with your identity removed.
- Clubs and tournament teams you captained continue to exist, with the captain shown as “Former member”.
None of these retained records identify you. Any future game you organised and any upcoming booking you held are cancelled automatically as part of deletion, so nobody turns up to a fixture that no longer has an organiser.
Venue and tournament organiser accounts. If your account owns a venue or a tournament organiser profile, in-app deletion is blocked — those accounts carry bookings and payout details belonging to other people. Email support@sadid.org so we can transfer or wind down the business records first, then delete your account.
Timing
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Requests made by email are completed within 30 days of us verifying your identity, in line with our Privacy Policy.
